01 — BODY PROFILE

Start With the Housing Profile, Not Only the Product Photo

Wide fittings are not one universal size. The housing profile affects internal space, mounting geometry, visual proportion and packing volume. Compare the profile first, then confirm the exact model and drawing.

5.2 × 3.4 cm

Reference wide-body profile for model comparison.

8.2 × 3.2 cm

Reference broad housing profile; confirm internal construction.

4.2 × 2.4 cm

Reference compact wide-body profile for comparison.

4.2 × 3.1 cm

Reference deeper profile; verify holes and components.

These dimensions are approximate reference profiles supplied for comparison. Exact profile-to-model mapping, measurement points, tolerances and mounting holes must be confirmed against the selected sample or drawing.
02 — CONFIGURATION

03 — SPECIFICATION CHECK

Information to Confirm Before Quotation

A useful quotation should be tied to a defined configuration rather than a product name alone.

Steel body

State the required thickness before powder coating. Common discussion ranges may be about 0.20–0.30 mm; a value such as 0.28 mm is subject to model, quantity and sourcing confirmation.

Powder coating

Confirm colour, finished appearance and any higher coating requirement separately from the pre-coating steel thickness.

G13 lampholders

Confirm PP or PC material, standard or spring-loaded construction, and the required fixing method.

Wire and terminals

Provide the wire specification, terminal type and any model-level certification requirement that affects selection or quotation.

Wiring method

Confirm the intended single-ended or double-ended arrangement and the applicable local electrical requirements.

Inner and outer packing

Choose neutral bags, shrink wrapping or colour boxes where applicable, and provide outer-carton requirements for review.

04 — OEM REVIEW PATH

Turn a Reference Model Into an Approved Specification

1. Reference

Send photos, previous purchase parameters and quantity.

2. Mechanical check

Confirm profile, length, steel, holes and lampholder fixing.

3. Electrical check

Confirm lampholders, wire, terminals and wiring method.

4. Packing record

Confirm inner packing, carton and approved revision details.

05 — FAQ

Wide T8 Fitting Questions

Are different wide-body profiles interchangeable?

Not automatically. Dimensions, mounting holes, lampholder fixing, internal space and wiring arrangement should be checked for the selected model.

Can a specific pre-coating steel thickness such as 0.28 mm be sourced?

It can be assessed for sourcing, subject to the selected model, quantity and final confirmation. The measurement stage should be written clearly.

Can lampholders, wire, terminals and packing be changed?

These items can be reviewed against the buyer’s requirements, but the final configuration and any applicable certification requirement should be confirmed before quotation and production.
